I’d like to invite you to a Zoom event on Wednesday, July 27th at 6:00 pm EDT where you can meet—and donate to, should you choose—Nan Whaley, awesome candidate for Governor in Ohio!

As a two-term Mayor of Dayton, Nan Whaley implemented high-quality preschool for every three- and- four-year-old in Dayton, tackled the opioid crisis by cutting overdose deaths in half, and brought the city together after a senseless mass shooting left nine people dead and more than a dozen injured. 

Nan won her primary on May 3rd, becoming the first woman to be nominated for governor in Ohio history. She won her race with 65% of the vote while Republican incumbent Gov. Mike DeWine received just 48% of the vote in his primary. Nan has already visited all of Ohio's 88 counties and has been endorsed by over 250 elected officials across the state, including Senator Sherrod Brown.

The stakes in this race could not be higher. The Ohio GOP is embroiled in a $61 million bribery scandal and, since the fall of Roe vs. Wade, DeWine and extremists in the Statehouse have implemented draconian measures to restrict the reproductive freedoms of Ohio women.
