Hi Jess, Ohioan here. I'm going to write postcards tomorrow evening with a group of Democratic women to urge voters to support Issue 1-Ohio voters third time (hopefully) to end the illegal gerrymandering by elected GOP officials in our state. Unfortunately, our Republican Secretary of State, LaRose, has changed the ballot language to thoroughly confuse the majority of voters in Ohio who want to end gerrymandering. I printed out a sample ballot yesterday from our county BOE and his "explanation" is full of disinformation that would make someone who reads it and doesn't know to vote Yes, possibly vote against what they want.
Glad to hear you're doing that- SUCH an important issue. I don't have a specific script to direct you to, but Citizens Not Politicians and OH Citizen Action are both doing great work spreading info on Issue 1.
